The Outback Raceway indoor off-road racing facility is owned and operated by A Main Hobbies, and is located around the back
of the A Main Hobbies warehouse in Chico, California. The Outback Raceway was designed and built by
A Main Hobbies to become one of the premier indoor off-road racing facilities in the world.
Below is a picture of our new indoor dirt, off-road racing track! We have installed the tackiest clay dirt surface you can find, so traction is not an issue and just
about any tires work on our track. Moisture stays in the dirt and we have great racing and traction all day long!
We built the track to be a really decent size indoor off-road dirt track. The race track itself is 48' wide by 92' long, and our massive drivers stand is 70" tall (almost
6'). We have also ensured we have provided full wheel chair ramp access to the drivers stand, as well as a protrusion for
disabled racers to be able to properly view the race track. The back straight on the track is 10' wide, and we have installed
two transponder loops in the track so we can race in either direction.
Our race track facility also includes a full air conditioned and heated pit area, with room for 50 plus racers to pit comfortably
inside! Pit tables with overhanging shelves, chairs and multiple electrical outlets are provided for racers to use while at the
facility. Below is a picture of part of the pit area for the racers:
Another picture of a different part of the pit area can be seen below. As you can see, we are well equipped for the disabled racer who might like to
enjoy our facilities!
If you have not stopped by to check out our racing facility, please come on by and check it out! We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
