The Outback Raceway indoor off-road racing facility is located inside the A Main Hobbies warehouse in Chico, California,
however it has its own separate entrance and maintains its own separate hours of operation. The hours of operation for
the off-road track are currently:
Monday-Friday:
10am - 5pm
Saturday:
9am - 5pm for practice, 7:30am - 6pm on race days
Sunday:
9am - 5pm for practice, 7:30am - 6pm on race days
The track is open for practice during the week when the warehouse is open, but the track doors may be locked if there is nobody practicing.
If you wish to practice during the week when the warehouse is open and the doors are locked, please come around the front to the warehouse
and we will open the track up for you.
Race Schedule
The off-road track is now open for practice and racing! Our normal club race schedule is to race three times a month: on the 1st and 2nd Saturday of every month, and
then the 3rd Sunday of every month. However please check our Race Calendar
for the current racing schedule as sometimes those dates may move depending on other races going on at that time.
If you have comments or suggestions about the track, please visit our
message board forums. On race
day, the track will open earlier and potentially stay open later depending on when the races are all done. The following
is the normal race day schedule:
Saturday:
Doors open at 7:30am for open practice
Racing starts at 10:30am
Racing usually completed by 6pm
Sunday:
Doors open at 7:30am for open practice
Racing starts at 10:30am
Racing usually completed by 6pm
On race days we run three qualifiers and then the main events.
